Biografie Albert Niland
Een gitaarvirtuoos singer-songwriter in de lijn van Luka Bloom maar naar
onze mening een veel virtuozer gitarist. Daarnaast ook een subliem zanger.
Speelde drie jaar de wereldtournee van Riverdance als sologitarist.
Sloot zichzelf daarna twee jaar op in Spanje om zich de Flamenco
eigen te maken.
Was veel op nationale tv in Ierland en was support van Christy Moore in
Brussel en Ierland. Speelde reeds op The Naked Song, het grote
singer-songwriter Festival in Eindhoven.
In februari 2008 bracht de CD “Live in Paradiso” Opgenomen in
Paradiso in Amsterdam In 2009 zag de CD “The Hungry Ghost”het licht.
In Nederland gevolgd door een prachtige tour met o.a. een optreden
bij tros Muziekcafé.
2011 nam hij met de legendarische Producer/engineer Brian Masterson
(die werkte met o.a. Norah Jones Van Morrison, Christy Moore,
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shania Twain, Norah Jones and Katie Melua)
zijn meest recente LIVE (geen overdubs) ingespeelde dubbel CD op met de eenvoudige titel “Albert Niland”.
